Houston EARLY Coaches,

 

Hello!  The Woodlands Children's Museum (www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org) is hosting an EARLY Tournament in two weeks on May 9th and your teams are invited.  There are only 7 slots available so please let Katie (cc'd:  katie.kelley@comcast.net ) know soon if you wish to participate.  It will be a great time; thank you Katie for having another tournament available to the Houston Area EARLY teams.  In the spirit of clarification, participation in the WCM tournament has no affect on your participation at the Hogg tournament on May 16th ... except that you'll be better prepared :-)

Event: "Robotics Day” at The Woodlands Children’s Museum with the main event being the “Spring 2009 EARLY Robotics Tournament”

 

Date: Saturday, May 9^th

 

Time: Pits will open at 9am and the tournament will run 10am-2ish

 

Location: The Woodlands Children’s Museum (lobby area)

 

Cost: $30 per team (this event does not include admission into the museum)

 

Awards: EARLY Medals

 

Food: Teams are welcome to bring their own food and there is a food court

 

Other: I will also have other robotics teams and programs on hand to promote the other robotic programs that are in our community; EDC, Bot Ball, Best Robotics, FIRST, FIRST LEGO League and more. The purpose of the event is to promote the museum’s robotics programs, our local schools’ programs, and science & technology in general.
